the first coding agent with the power of regenerative software
code is disposable
it no longer has to be maintained. it can be regenerated whenever the intent changes
your intent evolves. your code regenerates
questions, answered
what is turri?
the first open-source (MIT licensed) coding agent, built on pi, that has the power of regenerative software.
how do i use turri?
you tell turri what the software should do, it writes that down as durable intent and regenerates the code from it.
which models can i use?
any model pi supports. turri uses a capable model you talk to, which writes the intent and plans the work, and a smaller, cheaper one that writes the code.
how much does turri cost?
turri itself is free. you bring your own model provider, with an api key or /login, and pay them for what the models use. turri shows the cost of every build as it runs.
isn't regeneration expensive?
regenerative software is built on understanding. the agent knows exactly what it's building, and that keeps it cheap.
do i always need to regenerate the entire codebase when the intent changes?
turri works on intent changes: it sees which functionalities changed and regenerates only those. however, starting from scratch is always an option.
where does turri run?
macOS, linux and WSL, with native windows on a best-effort basis through git bash. you need git, bash and node 22.19 or newer, or you can run it from a single docker image.
